clean-eating-salad-1I suppose the term “clean eating” has various interpretations.  Just so you know my take on it, I consider Clean Eating to include a wide variety of fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables, and high quality, minimally processed proteins.

It also includes whole grains like brown rice, quinoa, and oats.

I encourage you to purchase the highest quality ingredients you can find and afford, but let’s be real.  You still get a high five for choosing the non-organic, GMO apple over the bag of Cheetos.  I appreciate options, but I’m not exactly what you would call a purist.  You do what works for you.
